Israeli native, Rafi Shaul, first discovered his love of roasting nuts and serving his community in 1984 when he owned local nuts and candy kiosk in Bnei Brak, Israel. Rafi then took his passion of serving his community and moved to Brooklyn, NY and spent over 20 years in the food industry. In 2016 Rafi and his wife Elisheva decided to embark on a journey of opening a store front that would resemble Shuk Machaneh Yehuda (the Israeli open Market in Jerusalem). Rafi traveled to Israel for formal training at a nuttery to fully understand how to properly roast nuts and provide the freshest product to his community. Rafi and Elisheva have been slowly growing their mom and pop shop over the past few years and have shown loyalty to their community and customers. They treat their customers and visitors as family and ensure that the service they receive is exceptional.
